Aeroponics is a method of growing plants without the use of soil. Instead, plants are grown with the roots suspended in the air, and are periodically misted with a nutrient-rich water solution. This misting provides plants with the necessary nutrients and hydration for growth without oversaturating the roots. Aeroponics offers several advantages over traditional soil-based gardening, including faster growth rates, higher yields, and more efficient use of water and nutrients.

Our system features a user-friendly touchscreen pump conveniently mounted on the side of the bucket. Drawing water from the reservoir below, the pump disperses a nutrient-dense mist to both sides of the roots, enveloping them in moisture. With proper watering techniques, minimal runoff should occur as the goal is to maintain moist roots without saturation. Any runoff is efficiently funneled out of the bottom of the bucket to prevent pooling. You have the option to recirculate the runoff back into the reservoir for continuous use or collect it in a separate drain collection bottle for disposal, ensuring flexibility and efficiency in operation.

For optimal freshness, we recommend replacing the 3.5-gallon reservoir weekly. However, if needed, it can last up to 2-3 weeks without intervention. We also advise performing a weekly flush with a hydrogen peroxide solution that keeps the system clean. Detailed instructions can be found here.
